A little About Me!

Hannah Gothard is a singer and actress from New Caney, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Ouachita Baptist University in December of 2021. 

Hannah has recently been seen performing in Island Park, Idaho for the past two summers at Yellowstone Playhouse! She has also performed for multiple theatre companies such as Arkansas Repertory Theatre in The Fantastiks! as Louisa and in Into the Woods as Rapunzel, Blue Gate Musicals as Elizabeth Stoltzfus in Josiah for President and Rose in Christmas Tree Ship, as well as traveling around the United States performing in children's shows with Bright Star Touring Theatre!

She credits her Senior year of High School for getting her hooked on performing where she got her first role playing Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz at New Caney High School. During College at Ouachita Baptist University she performed in multiple Theatre and Opera Productions some of her favorites include Beth in Little Woman and Josephine in H.M.S Pinafore. She also competed in the National Association of Teacher’s of Singing Competition (NAT’S) while at OBU and In the Spring of 2021 she won First Place in the Upper College Musical Theatre category for singing “Much More” from The Fantastiks! Later that Fall she was asked to play Louisa in Arkansas Repertory Theatres’ production of The Fantastiks! in Concert! Some of her musical theatre influences include Judy Garland, Julie Andrews, Liz Callaway, Audra McDonald, Kelli O'Hara, and Jessie Mueller.

When not performing Hannah loves to travel, have photoshoots, go thrifting, enjoy new foods and restaurants, read books, binge her favorite shows, and spend time at home with her family, friends and pets!
